Interleague Play Local Rules

For Intermediate Division of Play between

Mariposa County, Sierra Mountain, and Yosemite Little Leagues

Presidents of the above agreed to the following for the 2022 season:

·         No new inning may start after 2 hours of game play.

·         15 run rule after 4 innings, 10 run rule after 5 innings is being implemented.

·         Each team will provide two new baseballs per game.

·         The team that provides the field will be the home team for the first game and away team for the second game.

·         Home team shall maintain the official book for the game.

·         Host league shall provide umpires.

·         Pregame: Managers/Umpires will confirm ineligible pitchers prior to game start.

·         Visits to Pitcher’s mound are limited to twice in one inning or three times in a game.

·         Player in the starting lineup, who has been removed for a substitute may re-enter in the same position in the batting order, provided:

o   Their substitute has completed one at bat (defined as: A player enters the batter’s box with no count and completes that time at bat by being retired, retired as a batter-runner, scores, reaches base safely, or, after reaching base safely, the inning or game ends.)

o   Has played for a minimum of six consecutive outs
